4th edition of the International Air Cadets’ Week organized by the Polish Air Force University

During the week of March 31 – April 5, 2025, a delegation from "Henri Coanda" Air Force Academy, consisting of Major Bălău Adrian, Sergeant Major student Boca Felicia, and Corporal student Frunză Daniel, participated in the fourth edition of the International Air Cadets’ Week, organized by the Polish Air Force University.

On this occasion, the students had the opportunity to discover part of the country's culture and values, the facilities provided by the academy for the training of students, and to gain new perspectives through collaboration with students from the 15 participating countries.

Monday

The day began with an official ceremony to welcome the participating students, followed by a brief presentation of each academy, giving the students the chance to discover new perspectives on the organizational structures specific to each country. The ceremony was followed by a festive dinner, during which students could socialize in a friendly environment, thus laying the foundation for long-lasting cooperation. During the event, they also had the chance to discover a part of each country through sweets and traditional dishes brought by the students.

Tuesday

This day was entirely dedicated to exploring the foundations of the university. During the provided tour, the students had the opportunity to try the simulators available at the university and to discover a significant part of its history.

Wednesday

The students were given a guided tour of Warsaw, during which they discovered the history of the capital in all its splendor.

Thursday

Since the best collaborations are established through sports, this day was dedicated to sports activities. The students had the chance to demonstrate their abilities in a friendly and mildly competitive environment, which helped them develop team spirit. In the second part of the day, they enjoyed survival workshops.

Friday

The final day was dedicated to a visit to the airbase and the closing ceremony of the program. Here, they learned more about the training programs for future Polish pilots and the training aircraft designated for them. Later, the students were awarded certificates as a recognition of their participation in the organized activities.
